We work out of House Number 215 in Yasin Nagar. The office is located at Mrs. Chitra Vijay Tote’s residence in the Karjat area of Ahmednagar. Santgodadmaharaj Urban Multiple Nidhi Limited is a long name for a simple operation. We mostly just deal with the people who live nearby in the district. It’s a very local thing. We don’t have a big staff or a call center. If you call, one of us just picks up the phone. We spend a lot of time doing paperwork and making sure the savings accounts are updated correctly. The office is small and practical. We have some chairs for visitors and a couple of tables for our computers. It feels more like a home than a corporate office, which we think is fine for Karjat. People come by to drop off small amounts of money or to check their balances. We try to be helpful and answer questions directly. There are no sales pitches here. We just explain how things work and let people decide for themselves. Being in Yasin Nagar means we are part of the neighborhood. We see the same faces every week. We just try to keep things honest and stay on top of the daily tasks. We aren't doing anything groundbreaking, just keeping the books for our local members day in and day out in the Ahmednagar-Maharashtra region.
