Sainath Food Industries

Down in the Beed district, specifically in Kada, Tal Ashti, you’ll find Sainath Food Industries. We’re a local business that’s been part of this community for some time. Being in a place like Ashti means we’re surrounded by a lot of farming, which is where we get our start. We take what the local land gives and turn it into food products for the kitchen. Our facility isn't very large, and it’s mostly filled with the sound of grinders and the chatter of the workers. We don't have a corporate office with air conditioning; we just have a small desk in the corner for the books. Most of our days are spent checking the quality of the incoming loads. If the grain isn't good, we don't take it. It’s a simple rule we live by. The work is dusty and loud, but it’s what we do. We hire people from the surrounding neighborhoods, so it feels like a big family most of the time. We don't have a mission statement on the wall. We just show up, do the work, and hope for a good season. Sometimes the dust gets on your clothes and stays there, but you get used to it. We like being in District- Beed; it’s our home and where our roots are. We just want to keep the machines running and the bags filled so we can keep going for another year. It’s honest, plain, and simple.
