Sai Vishwa Food Products

In Kedgaon, right across from the 15 August Colony in Bhushan Nagar, you’ll find our little setup. We’re at number 855, and it’s where we make all our food products. It’s a lively part of town, and being opposite the colony means there are always kids playing or people walking their dogs nearby. We started Sai Vishwa because we wanted to work for ourselves and stay close to home. The kitchen area is where most of the action happens, and it can get pretty crowded when we have a big batch of stuff to get through. We don't have any fancy machinery, just the basic tools and a lot of hands-on work. My cousins and I do most of the packing ourselves. Sometimes we stay late into the night if there’s a big order for the next morning. The floors need a good scrub every evening, and our aprons are never truly clean for long. We don’t use any big words to describe what we do. We just make food and hope people like it enough to come back. It’s a humble place, and we’re proud of how we’ve managed to keep it going despite the competition. We talk to the shopkeepers nearby and sometimes trade what we make for what they have. It’s a good way to live, being part of the Bhushan Nagar community like this. Every day is different, but the work stays the same.
