Our place is located at House Number 2118 on Newasa Road in Shevgaon. We’re right there in the Ahmadnagar district. If you’re driving down Newasa Road, you can’t miss us. It’s a busy road, so we get people stopping in from all over the area. We run a Nidhi company here, which basically means we’re a group of members who help each other out with money. It’s pretty straightforward. Some people come in to save their extra cash, and others come when they need a loan for their farm or a new project. We don't have those big computer screens everywhere or people in uniforms. It’s just us in a regular office, working through the files and making sure the math adds up. We’ve lived around Shevgaon for a long time, so we know the people and the local struggles. We try to make the process of joining and saving as easy as we can. There’s no need for complicated language. We just explain things as they are. Sometimes the office gets a bit crowded on market days when everyone is in town, but we try to get to everyone as fast as possible. It’s a community thing, really. We’re just here to provide a local option for folks to manage their funds without having to travel too far. We’ve been on Newasa Road for some time now and we plan to keep serving our local members for years to come.
