We are located at B-6 in the MIDC area, which is mostly just a long stretch of workshops and industrial buildings. Our place is a simple shed with a small office partitioned off in one corner. It gets very hot during the summer months, especially when all the machines are running at the same time. We have some large floor fans that help a bit, but it is still a sweaty job. Most of us spend the day in greasy overalls working on metal parts or fixing equipment that has broken down. The floor is made of solid concrete and it has plenty of oil stains from years of engineering work. We do not have a fancy lobby or a person to greet you at the door. Usually, you just walk in and find someone near the lathe. We have an old calendar on the wall from three years ago that nobody has bothered to change. It is just there for the picture of the mountains. Our neighbors in the MIDC area are mostly other small shops, and we often borrow tools or parts from each other when we are in a bind. We do not do much advertising at all. Most of our work comes from people who have known us for years and trust us to fix their stuff. It is a loud and dusty environment, but it is where we feel most comfortable. We just focus on the machines and getting the orders finished.
