Royal Ice Cream

Royal Ice Cream is over in the Savedi Area, right on Balika Ashram Road. It’s pretty easy to find since we are parallel to Big Bazaar and not far from the Essar Petrol Pump. Having a shop near a big shopping center means it gets pretty crowded on the weekends. You see families coming in with their bags after they finish their groceries. The noise from the petrol pump is just something we’ve gotten used to over the years. It’s a plain shop, nothing like those big chains you see in the malls. We just have our flavors and a few benches. Sometimes the electricity acts up and we have to worry about the stock, but mostly it’s just the routine of serving scoops and chatting with the locals. I handle most of the stuff myself or with a bit of help from my family. It’s honest work. We aren't trying to change the world, just selling some ice cream to people who want a break from the sun. The floor needs sweeping constantly because of the dust from the road. That’s just part of life here. People know they can come by and find us open most days. We don't make a big deal out of it. It’s just a local business and we are here doing the same things every day. It’s a good neighborhood to be in and we appreciate the people who stop by.
