Rajmata Ahilyadevi Charitable Foundation

You can find the Rajmata Ahilyadevi Charitable Foundation in Akole Kh. We are right across from the Ganpati Mandir. We share our space with the Sojartai Bahuuddeshiy Vikas Mandal. It’s not a big fancy headquarters. It’s a local spot where we can sit down and talk to people from the village. We don't have much in the way of technology, just the basics to keep things moving. We started this because there wasn't much help available in this part of the district. We don't have a big staff, it's just a few of us who care about the community. Most of our days are spent listening to people’s problems and seeing if we can find a way to fix them. The temple across the road makes it easy for folks to explain where we are. We don't spend money on advertising or anything like that. Word of mouth is how most people hear about us. It’s a very simple operation. We don’t have set hours sometimes, if someone needs us, they just come by the house or the mandal. It’s a bit informal, but that’s how things work best around here. We aren't trying to be some big national charity. We just want to help our neighbors and make sure things are a bit better for the next generation. It’s honest work and we enjoy doing it.
