We are based in Sirsala, which is in the Parli tehsil of Beed district. Our office is at Ghar Number 817. It’s a regular house that we’ve converted into a workspace. It’s not the easiest place to find if you aren't from around here, but the locals know exactly where we are. We handle multiple types of Nidhi services, mostly helping people save their money in a safe way. The office is pretty basic with just a few desks, some chairs for visitors, and a couple of old cupboards where we store all the files. We have a lot of files because we like to keep everything on paper as well as on the computer. Beed can get very hot, so we usually have the windows open to catch a breeze, though it brings in some dust from the road. We are just a small group of people working together. Most of us live within walking distance of the office. We don't use big words or complicated financial terms. If someone comes in, we explain things in plain Marathi or English so they understand where their money is going. It’s a steady job. We open up early in the morning and stay until the work is done. It’s not a fancy corporate life, but it’s a good way to help out the folks in Sirsala. We enjoy the routine and the familiar faces we see every single day.
