Pranada Clinic

If you walk over to Pushkar Apartment near Ekwira Chowk, you’ll find us on the ground floor. Being at the bottom level is handy because nobody has to deal with stairs when they aren’t feeling up to it. The clinic is basically a converted apartment space, so it has a bit of a homey feel, even if there are medical cabinets everywhere. We spend most of our time in Savedi, which is a decent area to be in. The morning starts with unlocking the gate and making sure the waiting area is tidy. We don’t have a massive team, just a few of us who know how each other works. There’s a tea shop nearby where we usually grab a quick drink between patients. Sometimes the waiting room gets full and people end up chatting with each other while they wait for their turn. It’s a simple routine of checking heights, weights, and talking through what’s wrong. We don’t have those high-tech sliding doors or fancy coffee machines. It’s just wooden chairs and a desk where the files stay stacked up. We’ve been in this spot for a bit now, so the neighbors know us. You’ll often hear the sounds of the street outside while we’re working. It’s just a normal day at Pranada Clinic, trying to help out whoever walks through the door in this part of town. It is a quiet existence but one that keeps us busy enough from morning until the evening.
