Pradhyumya Agro Industry (Opc) Private Limited is a small operation run out of Nalewadi. We are at Mr. Rao Saheb Baburao Ghule’s place. It’s a quiet spot, and being an OPC means it is a one-person company structure, though there are always people around to help out. Nalewadi is the kind of place where everyone knows each other. We focus on agro-industrial work, which basically means we are looking at how to process what comes off the farm. It isn't a high-tech factory; it is a practical setup that fits the local area. We spend our time looking at crops and thinking about how to make them into something more useful. The weather here dictates a lot of what we do, just like it does for all our neighbors. Some days are spent just making sure the equipment is working or talking to other farmers about their harvest. We don't have a big marketing budget or a team of salespeople. It is just about getting the work done and trying to grow the business bit by bit. Sometimes the power goes out or the roads get muddy, but you just deal with it and move on.
