Shraddha General Store

I’ve had Shraddha General Store open here in Parmer for quite some time now. It’s a regular shop where you can find the usual things you need for the house. I keep a bit of everything—soap, snacks, notebooks, and whatever else people around here ask for. Parmer is a small place, so I know most of my customers by name. They come in for a bit of milk or sugar and we end up chatting about the weather or the local news. The store isn't very big, and I have to stack things high on the shelves to make it all fit. It’s a bit cramped inside, especially when a few people are in at the same time. I don't have fancy lights or a computer for the bills; I just use a notebook and a calculator. It’s been this way since I started. My kids sometimes help me out after school, but mostly it’s just me. I stay open late because people often realize they forgot something for dinner at the last minute. The floor is concrete and the walls have some old posters on them. It’s a simple life, running a store like this. I’m not looking to become a supermarket. I just want to provide what the neighbors need and keep things running smoothly. It’s a bit dusty because of the road outside, but I sweep every morning before the first customer arrives. Sometimes I sit on the stool outside when there are no customers, just watching the cars go by. Parmer isn't a fast place, and that suits me just fine.
