PANSARE NURSERY

Pansare Nursery is located out in Kashti, over in the Shirgonda area. It’s about 10km away from the Daund Railway Junction, so we are a bit far from the main city buzz. Being out here means we have plenty of room for the saplings and the bigger trees we keep. The air is a bit dusty and the sun can be really unforgiving during the afternoons. We spend most of our time outdoors, so we’re all pretty tanned and usually have mud on our boots. We don't have a fancy office or a front desk. Most of the time, if someone comes by, they’ll find us out in the rows of plants or near the water pumps. It’s a lot of physical labor, digging holes and moving heavy bags of fertilizer. We grow things at our own pace and don’t really worry about the latest trends. Some days it’s just us and the birds, which is fine. We have a small shed where we keep the tools and take our lunch breaks. The road out here isn't always the smoothest, especially after it rains, but people still find their way to us. We’ve been here long enough that we know which plants do well in this soil and which ones struggle. It’s just a basic nursery run by people who like being outside more than being in an office. We just stay busy with the watering and the weeding every single day.
