Omdatta Urban Multiple Nidhi Limited has its office in Kopargaon, located at House Number 2017 in Gajyanan Nagar. Ahmednagar can be a very hot place, and Kopargaon is no exception. Our building is a standard house that we’ve adapted for our business needs. Inside, you’ll find some old wooden cupboards filled with folders and a few desks where we spend most of our daylight hours. The Gajyanan Nagar neighborhood is mostly residential, so it stays fairly quiet during the morning hours when most people are out at work or in the fields. We started here because it was convenient for the local community to reach us without having to go all the way to the city center. The office has a very lived-in feel to it. There might be a few cobwebs in the high corners of the ceiling, but the floors are kept clean. We drink a lot of water and tea throughout the day to stay hydrated while we go through the piles of paperwork. Visitors usually sit across from us and we talk through things slowly. There’s no rush here. We take our time to make sure the numbers are right and that people understand what they are signing. It is a basic operation, run by people who live right here in the same district. We focus on the daily grind and keeping the records straight for everyone in the neighborhood.
