OM KALIKA URBAN NIDHI LIMITED

We are right across from the Bannoma Darga in Shevgaon, at house number 244. It’s a landmark everyone knows around here in Ahmednagar. Being in Bodhegaon, we get a lot of local foot traffic. The office is a plain room with a couple of tables. We’ve been running Om Kalika Urban Nidhi here for a while. People come in after visiting the Darga or doing their errands in Shevgaon. It’s a busy street, so there’s always something happening outside the door. We aren't corporate people. We are just local folks who know how to manage a Nidhi. We spend a lot of time explaining the different schemes to people who aren't sure how it works. We don't use fancy brochures. Usually, we just write things down on a piece of paper to show them. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but the work gets done regardless. It’s a tight-knit community in this part of Ahmednagar. We know who is getting married and who is building a new house. That’s the benefit of being a local Nidhi. We don't have any big goals of opening a hundred branches. We just want to do right by the people in Bodhegaon. Sometimes we stay late to finish the entries, especially at the end of the month. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy. We are happy to be where we are.
