Malpani Tea

Malpani Tea is based out of Malpani House on I.G. Road in Sangamner. This is where we do all our daily operations. The building has been part of the family for a long time, and it feels like home more than an office. We have a lot of rooms that we use for different parts of the tea business. Some rooms are for storage and others are where we sit and talk to people who come to visit. Sangamner is a busy town, and I.G. Road is usually full of people and vehicles. We can hear the honking from the street all day, but we are used to it by now. The walls are thick, so it stays relatively cool inside even when the sun is beating down outside. We don't have any big corporate signs, just the name of the house. We focus on getting the tea ready and making sure the orders go out to the local shops on time. My aunt often cooks lunch for everyone in the small kitchen at the back. It’s a very family-oriented way of doing things. We don't worry about being the most modern business around. We just want to keep the tradition going and make sure we are doing our job the way we were taught. It’s a lot of manual labor, but we don't mind the sweat.
