Lalit Traders

Our place is at No.541 in Gomalwadi, which is part of the Taluka Post Akola area. It is a bit of a trek to get out here if you aren't from the village, but it is where we have always been. The building is a simple structure that we use for storing and trading. Usually, you will find someone out front by the gates waiting for the next truck to pull in. We handle a lot of different goods and it takes some work to keep it all sorted so nothing gets lost in the piles. The dust from the road comes in sometimes when the wind picks up, so we are always dusting off the bags and boxes. We have a small desk where we keep the ledger and the phone. It is mostly quiet out here compared to the big cities, which we like. Most of our day is spent checking the quality of what comes in and making sure it is ready to go back out to the markets. We don't use any fancy computer systems for everything, just our notes and our memory mostly. It gets hot in the afternoons, so we take a break under the tree for some tea before getting back to the loading. There is always something to lift or move around the warehouse. We just keep our heads down and do the job as best as we can.
