If you drive down the Nagarmanmad Road in Rahuri, you will see us there. The hospital is right on the main stretch, so it gets a lot of noise from the trucks passing by. We have been operating here for a long time. It’s a practical place. We don’t have fancy rugs or bright lights, just the standard hospital gear. The lobby has those plastic chairs that everyone knows, and they are usually filled with people waiting their turn. Rahuri can get quite dusty, so we are always cleaning the floors and the windows. It feels like a constant battle against the road dust. The staff here has been together for a while, so we all know how the routine goes. We start our shifts early and sometimes stay late if there is a lot of work to finish. The building itself is older, but it serves the purpose. People come in from all over the district because of where we are located. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a minute for the backup to kick in. It’s just how things are here. We don’t make a big fuss about anything. We just take the patients as they come and do the work that needs doing. There is a tea stall nearby where the families often go while they wait. That is basically the daily scene at Kusalkarhospital. We are just a local spot for people to get seen.
