Tanisha Tours Travels

Tanisha Tours Travels is based in Kashti, right near the Bharat Gas Agency. It’s a small office but we make it work. Most of the day is spent on the phone or looking at maps and bus schedules. People walk in wanting to go to the city or maybe on a longer trip for a wedding. We have some old posters on the walls of places we’ve never actually been to. The chairs in the waiting area are a bit worn out from all the people sitting there over the years. We have a small computer that takes a while to start up in the morning. Kashti is a quiet place mostly, except for when the gas trucks are moving around next door. We know all the drivers around here and which ones are reliable for long trips. My sister helps with the bookings sometimes when I have to go out and check on the cars. We don't have a big sign, just a small one near the door. It’s a basic business. We try to keep track of everything in a big diary we keep on the main desk. Sometimes the tea lady from across the street brings us some snacks in the afternoon. It’s a decent way to spend the day, talking to people and helping them get where they need to go. We keep the doors open until quite late if there are bookings to finish.
