Gouriputra Sahayyata Nidhi Limited

Being over here at Janhavi Tower in Shrishivajinagar has its ups and downs. Gouriputra Sahayyata Nidhi Limited is located right in the middle of Rahuri-Ahmednagar. The building itself, P1007966, is fairly easy to find if you know the area well. We spend most of our mornings drinking hot chai and getting the ledgers ready for the day ahead. The heat in Ahmednagar gets a bit much during May, so we have a small cooler that hums all day long in the corner. Most of the people who come in are neighbors or people we see at the market every week. We handle the usual money matters, nothing too big or too small. It’s a simple setup we have going on here. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we haven't found the time or the energy to do it yet. Sometimes the elevator in Janhavi Tower is acting up, so we end up taking the stairs. It keeps us moving, I guess. We aren't some giant corporation with hundreds of staff and fancy suits. It's just a few of us sitting at desks making sure everything adds up correctly in the books. We don't use much financial jargon because it just confuses everyone. We just talk like normal people do. If someone has a question about their savings, they just walk in and ask us directly. That's the way we've always operated. We keep the registers organized and try to make sure no one is waiting.
