Gadage Hospital And Maternity Clinic

Our clinic is tucked away in Gajanan Colony, right on the Vadgaon Gupta Road near the MIDC area in Ahmednagar. Being so close to the industrial zone means we get a lot of workers and their families coming through. It is a mix of a general hospital and a maternity clinic, so it’s a bit of a loud place. You’ve got people coming in for injuries or fevers on one side, and then the sound of new babies on the other. It’s a strange combination but we’ve managed it for years. The building is a bit of a walk from the main gate, but people find us easily enough. We don't have a fancy website or a bunch of brochures. Most people just know the blue sign out front. Inside, the floors are that old-fashioned tile and the fans hum all day to keep the heat down. Working in a maternity ward means there are a lot of late nights and early mornings. You get used to the lack of sleep after a while. The staff usually brings their own lunch and we eat in the small back room whenever there is a break. It is not a glamorous life, but it is a busy one. We focus on getting mothers and their little ones through their stay without any fuss. Ahmednagar is a growing place, and we are just one small part of the community here.
