Formatrix Architect

Our spot is right at Dharti Chowk in Hatampura. If you’re familiar with Ahmednagar, you’ll know that Dharti Chowk can be quite a lively place. Formatrix Architect is tucked away there, and we’ve been using this office for quite some time now. It’s not a very large office, just a couple of rooms where we keep our stuff. We have a lot of samples and bits of materials lying around because that’s the nature of the work. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we never seem to find the time to get it done. We are usually too busy with the projects on our boards. People stop by all the time just to ask questions or have a quick chat about their plans. We don’t have a formal way of doing things. If you come in, you’ll likely see us hunched over a desk or talking on the phone with a contractor. It’s a bit messy sometimes, with pens and scales scattered about, but we know where everything is. The noise from the chowk filters in throughout the day, so it never feels too quiet here. We like being in the middle of things. It keeps us connected to what’s happening in Hatampura. There’s no corporate ladder here, just a few people working together to get drawings finished. It is a very down-to-earth place to work. You can hear the traffic outside, but inside we just focus on the task at hand.
