Dr. Tamboli Balrugnalaya

This clinic is tucked away in Ghumare Lane, right across from where the Congress Committee office is located. It's a place where parents bring their kids when they’ve got a fever, a bad cough, or need their regular shots. It’s usually pretty loud here because, well, children don’t always like being at a doctor's office. We have some toys scattered around the waiting area to help keep them busy while they wait their turn. The walls have some stickers on them, though some are peeling a bit now after all these years. Dr. Tamboli has been seeing families from this neighborhood for a very long time. You’ll often see a line of strollers or tired parents waiting out front in the lane on a busy morning. It’s not a massive hospital, just a local spot where we try to take care of the little ones. Some of the kids who first came here years ago are grown up now and bringing their own children back to see us. It’s a busy little corner of the city. We try to keep things organized, but when three babies start crying at once, it gets a bit chaotic. That’s just part of working at a Balrugnalaya. We don't have a big corporate lobby with fancy lights. It’s just a practical space with wooden benches and a reception desk that’s seen better days. We do our work, talk to the parents, and try to make sure every child gets seen. It’s a simple routine that we’ve been following day in and day out.
