Dr Bra Hospital

We are located right at Swastik Chouk on Station Road. It is one of the busiest parts of town because the railway station is so close. You can hear the trains pulling in sometimes if the wind is right. The road is always full of rickshaws and people rushing to catch their ride. Our hospital is a bit of an older building, but it serves its purpose. We have several rooms for patients and a small area where we keep the records. The desks are piled high with folders because there is always so much paperwork to do. I often find myself searching for a pen that actually works. We have a few nurses who help out, and we are all usually running around from one room to another. The waiting area is often packed, especially in the mornings. There is a tea stall right outside the main gate where I usually grab a cup when things slow down for five minutes. The walls have some scuff marks from the stretchers moving past, but that’s just part of being a hospital. It is a loud and hectic place, but it feels good to be right in the middle of everything at Swastik Chouk. We don’t have any big signs or fancy lights, just the name of the place above the door. It is a practical spot for anyone coming off the train or living nearby on Station Road. It is just where we work.
