Chapanerkar Saffronimpex Privatelimited is based out of Shrirampur in the Ahmednagar district. Our office is situated in the Lodha Building, which sits right on Shivaji Road. If you are familiar with the area, we are in Ward 4. Shrirampur is a smaller place compared to the big cities, and we like it that way. We deal with saffron and various import-export tasks from this office. It is not a high-tech facility with glass walls; it is just a regular office where we do our daily work. There are a few of us who handle everything from checking the quality of the saffron to sorting out the shipping papers. Shivaji Road can get quite busy with local traffic, especially during the market hours. We usually start our day early to avoid the heat and get a head start on the paperwork. Being in the Lodha Building for a while has made us a part of the local scene here. We don't have any big corporate missions or fancy slogans. We just focus on getting the saffron from one place to another without any trouble. It is a lot of desk work and phone calls to different suppliers. We keep things simple and honest because that is what works best in a town like Shrirampur. Sometimes the work is slow, and other times we are rushing to meet a deadline, but that is just the nature of this trade. We are just a local team doing our thing in Ahmednagar.
