CHAKRABARTHY MEDICAL CENTRE

You’ll find us right across from the Gurudwara near the Kottala stand on Aurangabab Road. It’s a landmark everyone knows around here. The medical centre has been part of the landscape for a good bit of time. People stop by on their way to work or after they finish their prayers across the street. We see all sorts of illnesses, from basic fevers to things that need a bit more looking into. The waiting area fills up pretty fast in the mornings. We don’t have a massive reception desk or anything, just a desk and some chairs. It’s more about getting the job done. Sometimes it gets a bit loud with the traffic outside, but inside we try to keep things focused. The doctors here have seen it all. We have people coming in from the nearby villages too because the bus stops right by the stand. It makes it easy for them. We don't spend money on big signs or flyers. Word of mouth is how most people hear about Chakrabarthy Medical Centre. It’s just how things work in this neighborhood. We keep the medicine cabinets stocked and the patient records in order. It’s a lot of paperwork and checking vitals. We’re just local people helping other local people feel a bit better when they’re under the weather. Nothing more, nothing less. Usually, we close up late once the last patient has been seen and the street starts to get a bit quieter and the lights dim. The floor needs a good sweep before tomorrow.
