Bdkp Rurban Development Consultants Llp is situated at Plot No. 9 in S.K. Heights. We are right behind Mahesh Talkies, which is a big landmark in this part of town. It’s a bit of an older building, but it serves us well. Most of our work revolves around urban and rural development, so we are often out in the field or buried under stacks of blueprints and planning documents. The office is usually a bit chaotic with maps rolled up in corners and various project files scattered on the tables. It’s not a "showy" office by any means. We have basic wooden furniture and the lighting isn't the brightest, but it’s where we get our thinking done. Being behind a cinema hall means we hear the muffled sounds of movies in the evenings, which is just part of the background noise now. We are a small group of people who are interested in how towns and villages grow. We don't have a corporate handbook or a list of values on the wall. We just show up, look at the projects, and try to figure out the best way forward. Sometimes we disagree on how a plan should look, and you might hear us arguing a bit over tea. It’s an honest workplace where things are done the old-fashioned way. We’ve been here for several years and the locals know us as the people who are always looking at maps.
