You can find us at Block No-82-83 in the Market Yard off Nevasa Road. Being in the Market Yard in Ahmednagar means it is always noisy and crowded with trucks. We handle exports, which involves a lot of grading and packing. Our blocks are usually filled with crates and bags waiting to be loaded. It’s a very physical environment. We’re often out on the floor checking the quality of the produce coming in before it gets sent off to other places. The dust and the shouting of the auctioneers is just the background music to our day. We aren't sitting in air-conditioned offices; we’re right there in the thick of it. The weather in Ahmednagar can get really hot, making the afternoons in the yard pretty tough, but we just keep pushing through. We’ve got a team that knows how to handle the goods so they don’t get ruined during transit. It’s a lot of responsibility because people are counting on what we send. We don’t have time for fancy presentations. We just focus on getting the weight right and the containers filled. It’s a rough-and-tumble kind of business, but it’s what we’ve done for years. Every day is a bit different depending on what’s in season and how many trucks are lined up at the gate. It's hard work, but we are proud of the stuff we ship out from this yard every single week.
