You can find us over at Krushna Eknath Kaware’s place, right by the Grampanchayat in Kukana. We are set up at Gat No. 233. It’s a central enough spot for folks in Nevasa to reach us. Arle Patil Urban Multistate Kukana Nidhi Limited is the name on the door, but most people just know us as the local office by the village council. We don't have much in the way of fancy furniture. It’s just a practical space where we sit and get things done. Some days the dust from the road gets in, but that’s just life here. We handle a lot of different things, mostly helping people with their small accounts and keeping the records updated. It’s a bit of a walk for some, but others live right around the corner. We try to stay organized even when it gets busy. There’s usually someone sitting on the bench outside waiting to talk. We take our time with each person. It’s not like those big city banks where they rush you. Here, we know the names of the people walking in. We stay open late sometimes if there’s a lot of filing to catch up on. It’s a steady job and we like being part of the Kukana landscape. The Grampanchayat is always a hub of activity, so there is never a dull moment for us. We just keep our heads down and work.
