Our office is located at Kunal Dashrath Gaikwad’s place, number 543/1/10 on Sangamner Road. We are in the Kolhar Bk area of Rahta, out here in Ahmednagar. It’s a well-known road, so people don't usually have trouble finding us. We started this Nidhi company to give folks around Rahta a place to manage their money without having to deal with big, cold institutions. Our setup is pretty basic. We have a desk, some chairs, and a computer for the records. We don't spend money on fancy things because we’d rather keep things simple for our members. Most of the people who come in are farmers or small shop owners from the Sangamner Road area. We talk about regular stuff—the weather, the crops, and then we get to the business of savings and loans. It’s a very relaxed environment. We don't wear suits or use big corporate words. We just explain how the Nidhi works in plain Marathi or English, whichever the person prefers. It’s a community thing. We take care of the paperwork and make sure everything is legal and correct, but we do it with a friendly attitude. If you're driving down the road and see us, you can just stop by. There’s no need for an appointment. We’re just here doing our job for the local people.
