You can find us in Kolpewadi, which is a small place in the Kopargaon Taluka. The shop is right in the middle of the village area where people gather. We sell all sorts of things like nails, hammers, plastic pipes, and metal buckets. It is the kind of place where everything is piled up high on the shelves. If you need a specific bolt or a certain size of screw, I probably have it buried under something else. The shop gets quite dusty because the road outside is busy and isn't always paved perfectly. Farmers from the surrounding fields come in all the time looking for tools or parts for their water pumps. We know almost everyone who walks through the door by their name. It is a very local way of doing business here. We do not have a computer system to track every little thing; we just know where it is or we look for it until it turns up. The walls are covered with different types of saws and wrenches hanging on rusty hooks. There is an old wooden counter where we write out the bills by hand on a paper pad. It can get very busy on market days, and then it is just me and my brother trying to help everyone at once. It is a simple shop, nothing like those big stores in the city, but we have what the people need.
