Z. Construction

Our place is at 54 Dahyabhai Kadiya’s Chali in Ahmedabad. It is right across from the old Arbuda Mill and near the Rakhial Char Rasta. If you know the area, you know it is quite industrial and busy. We have been doing construction work from this spot for a while now. The office isn't much to look at, just a basic room with our tools and some benches. We aren't the type to sit around in air conditioning all day. Most of the time, we are out at different sites around the city. When we are here, it’s usually to talk about upcoming jobs or to sort out the materials we need. The neighborhood is loud and there is always dust from the traffic, but that is just how it is in this part of Ahmedabad. We don't have any big signs or flashy advertisements. People usually find us because they live nearby or heard about us from someone else. It is a simple way of working. We just focus on the building side of things and don't worry about being fancy. It is hard work, especially when the sun is out, but we just get on with it. We like being in Rakhial because it feels like a real working neighborhood. There is a small tea stall nearby where we go for breaks. It helps us stay focused when the days get long. We aren't trying to be the biggest company, just one that actually finishes what it starts.
