We've been over here at Shrimali Society for a good while now. Our office is tucked away off Narayan Nidhi Road, right by the busy Mithakhali Six Roads. Most local people know where it is. We handle a lot of business paperwork and the kind of stuff that owners usually don't have time to deal with themselves. Our team is small. Most days are spent on the phone or staring at messy spreadsheets. Traffic outside can get pretty loud, but it’s usually quiet enough inside to get things done. We didn't want a glass-and-steel office, so this converted house in the society suits us just fine. It feels more like a home than some cold corporate floor. Parking can be a real headache around lunch, so we tell people to watch out for that. Around four o'clock, we usually stop for tea if we aren't buried in work. Our operation isn't big—just some desks and a few old computers. While we try to stay organized, files have a way of piling up. Ahmedabad is a fast-paced city where everyone is in a rush for their permits. We try to help them navigate the rules without getting too stressed out. It’s honest, simple work. There’s nothing fancy about it. Just regular folks helping other folks. The neighborhood has changed a lot since we started. More shops have opened up nearby. Anyway, that’s us at Workserve.
