Our factory and office are located at 1213 in Phase-3 of the Vatva GIDC area in Ahmedabad. Being in an industrial estate means it's always noisy and there’s a lot of heavy machinery moving around. Whirler Centrifugals Pvt. Ltd. has been here for a long time. The building is more of a workshop than an office. We have the machines on one side and a small space for the paperwork on the other. It gets quite dusty and hot, especially during the summer months in Gujarat, but that’s just the nature of industrial work. We spend our days dealing with metal, parts, and technical drawings. Most of the people working here have been with us for years. We don't have a marketing team or anyone to write fancy brochures. We just make the centrifugal equipment and send it out to whoever needs it. It’s honest work that requires a lot of attention to how the machines are put together. When someone comes to visit, they usually find us in our work clothes, probably covered in a bit of grease. We don't put on a show for anyone. We just focus on the manufacturing process. The Vatva area is a hub for this kind of thing, so we fit right in. There are always trucks coming and going from the gates. We keep a simple schedule and just try to make sure every unit that leaves the shop is built the way it should be. It is noisy, but it is home.
