Welspun Gujarat Sthal Rohen Ltd. is located here at 47A, Amrapali. It’s a pretty straightforward setup we have going. We deal with the steel pipe business, which is what the Sthal Rohen part is all about. This location is more of a local hub for us. It’s not one of those massive industrial sites with smoke and noise, but we handle our fair share of the load from here. The office is tucked away, so it stays relatively quiet compared to the main roads. Inside, you’ll find a few of us sitting around desks piled with manifests and order forms. We’ve been at this for quite some time now, so we know the drill. There isn't any fancy marketing stuff or polished presentations. We just talk to people, handle the orders, and make sure the steel gets to where it’s supposed to be. Sometimes the printer jams or we run out of stationary, but we fix it and move on. It’s just a normal workplace with normal people. We drink a lot of chai throughout the day to keep ourselves going. If you come by, you’ll probably see a few motorbikes parked outside and hear the sound of someone typing away. We don't try to be anything we aren't. We’re just a local branch doing our part in the bigger picture of the company. It’s steady work and it keeps us busy most days of the week.
