Well Cast Foundry

Well Cast Foundry is over at 10, Hariom Indl. Estate. We’re right across from Laxmi Pottery and near Navab Estate in the Hirawadi Saijpur Bogha area. It’s an older part of the industrial district, and we’ve been casting metal here for quite some time. The foundry is a hot and dusty place, but that’s just how it goes when you’re melting metal. We have our furnaces and our molds all set up. It’s not a clean job, and our clothes usually have a bit of soot on them by the end of the shift. We don’t do any big marketing. Most people find us because they know the area or they’ve seen our sign near Navab Estate. We just focus on getting the pours right. If the mold isn’t perfect, the whole thing is a waste, so we take our time with it. We’re a small group of workers who know the trade. There isn’t much corporate talk around here; we just speak plainly about what needs to be done for the day. Sometimes the power goes out or a machine breaks, and we just fix it and keep going. It’s honest work. We’ve been in this same spot for years and don’t plan on moving. It’s where we do our work, right here in Hirawadi. During breaks, we just sit outside where it's a bit cooler.
