We operate out of units 3 and 4 in the Ashwamegh Ware House. We are located right near the Ujala Circle in Sarkhej. It’s a big warehouse space, so it stays relatively cool in the morning but gets quite warm by the afternoon. We handle a lot of fabric rolls and finished garments here. The floors are concrete and we have these big metal racks that go all the way to the ceiling. It is mostly the sound of packing tape and the forklift moving things around. We aren't in a shiny office building in the center of Ahmedabad. We are out here where the big trucks can get in and out easily. The office part is just a small partitioned area with some old desks and a few computers. We spend our time counting inventory and checking the shipping labels. Sometimes the dust from the warehouse gets into everything, so we are always wiping down the tables. It is a practical place for a practical business. We have a small tea break under the shade outside when it gets too hot. There is no corporate dress code here; we just wear what is comfortable for moving boxes. We just try to get the shipments out on the trucks by the end of the shift. That is what keeps us busy most days. It is just a regular warehouse job and we are used to the routine now.
