This branch is located in Kheda, at 12/B Sahajanand Niwas. It’s a quiet spot in Gujarat, not like the big cities. The building is an old-style house converted into an office, which gives it a different feel. We are part of the government undertaking, so things move at a steady pace here. There is a lot of paperwork usually. The street outside isn’t too noisy, mostly locals going about their business. We start our day early before the sun gets too strong. Kheda is a small place where everyone knows the landmarks. We spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at documents. There isn’t a big sign outside, just enough for people to find us. Inside, it’s mostly just desks and some old wooden cupboards for the files. We have been here for quite some time now. The workspace is a bit cramped when everyone is in, but we manage just fine. It’s not a modern glass building. It has thick walls and small windows. The power goes out sometimes, so we have to plan around that. People drop by for various things, and we try to help them out with whatever the current project is. It’s a simple setup. We don’t have a canteen or anything, so we usually bring lunch from home. It’s just a regular office doing regular things in a small town. The local market is just a short walk away if we need anything.
