Vipro Lifescience Pvt. Ltd. operates out of rooms 402 and 403 in the Sarthik-2 building. We are right opposite the Rajpath Club on S.G. Road in Ahmedabad. It’s a very busy part of the city. You can always see cars zooming by on the highway. Our office is a practical place. We deal with lifescience products, which means a lot of checking labels and managing shipments. We have two units joined together so there’s enough room for the desks and the storage. It’s not a designer office. The chairs are comfortable enough for a full day's work, but they aren't anything special. We’ve got a small pantry where we keep the kettle and some biscuits. Sarthik-2 is a well-known building, so it’s easy to tell people where we are. We see the same faces in the hallway every day. Sometimes the air conditioning is a bit too cold, so we have to keep a sweater handy. We don’t do big presentations or have a PR person. We just talk to our clients on the phone and send out the products they need. Most of the guys here have been with the company for a long time. We know each other’s families and what everyone likes for lunch. It’s a friendly atmosphere, but we stay busy. S.G. Road is always growing, and we’ve seen a lot of changes around here over the years. We just keep doing our daily tasks.
