The society is a mix of homes and small businesses, so it has a very neighborly feel to it. We’ve been here at Videocon International for quite some time, and our office is just a simple room with a couple of desks and a lot of cabinets. We don't really have any big displays or fancy lighting. It’s just a place where we come to work and handle our daily business. We spend a lot of time on the computer and answering the phone, mostly dealing with things that are happening far away even though we’re tucked away in Bareja. The road outside can get a bit dusty when the wind picks up, and we often hear the sounds of the neighborhood throughout the day. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who have been working together for years. We know each other’s habits and we just get on with the job. There’s no corporate ladder to climb here; we’re just doing what needs to be done to keep things moving. We usually close up shop at a decent hour and head home to our families. It’s a straightforward way to make a living and we’re happy with how things are.
