Videocon Industries Ltd

Our office is up on the 4th floor of Videocon House. It’s located near the Swastik Cross Roads and sits right behind Urja House on C G Road in Navrangpura. This building has been here for a long time, and you can tell by the architecture. Navrangpura is a very central part of Ahmedabad, so there’s always something going on outside. Videocon Industries is a big name, but this particular office feels like any other workplace once you get inside. We have the usual rows of desks and some meeting rooms that have seen a lot of use over the years. The elevators can be a bit slow in the morning when everyone is trying to get to their floor. We spend a lot of time on computers and dealing with the logistical side of things. It’s not a flashy environment. We focus more on the actual work than on how the office looks. From the windows, you can see the busy streets and the other buildings nearby. Most of the staff has been here for years, so it feels like a familiar routine every day. We drink a lot of tea and try to stay organized amidst all the paperwork. It’s a busy place, but we manage to keep things moving. We don't really go in for the fancy corporate talk. We just handle the business at hand and try to stay productive until it’s time to go home. It is just a job.
