We’re located at 60/3 in the Diamond Industrial Estate. It’s right across from the Toyota showroom on NH No. 8 in Nana Chiloda. Being near the highway is handy for moving things in and out, but it’s definitely loud. Venus Compressors Pvt. Ltd. is a place where there’s always something being taken apart or put back together. The estate itself is full of different businesses, so there’s always trucks moving around and people shouting to be heard over the machinery. Our workshop is full of heavy equipment and the smell of oil. We don’t have a lot of fancy office space. Most of the room is taken up by the compressors we’re working on. The crew here knows their way around a machine, and we usually have grease on our hands by noon. We don’t spend much time on paperwork if we can help it, though it has to be done. We eat our lunch together in a small corner of the shop, talking about the work or whatever else is on our minds. It’s a hard-working environment, and we don’t try to make it look like something it’s not. We’ve been at this location for a while and the regulars know exactly where to find us. It’s a practical, no-nonsense kind of place. We just focus on fixing the machines and getting them back to the owners. That is really all there is to it.
