We run Venus Infrastructure & Developers Pvt Ltd from an office that sits right opposite the Municipal Zonal Office. It’s a busy area because of all the people going to the government building for their permits and paperwork. There is always a lot of activity outside our front door, which keeps things interesting. Our office itself is pretty basic. We have a few rooms with desks and some old metal cupboards where we store all our records. It’s not a fancy place and we don't try to pretend it is. We don't have a glossy website or a team of people in expensive suits. Most of the time, we are just dressed in everyday clothes, dealing with the daily grind of the construction business. We spend a lot of time talking to contractors and checking over schedules. Because we are opposite the Municipal Zonal Office, we see a lot of the local bureaucracy in action every day. It reminds us to stay on top of our own filings and permits. The chairs in our waiting area are a bit mismatched and the lighting is just regular fluorescent bulbs. We don't have any high-tech gadgets or modern decor. We just have what we need to get the job done. It’s an honest, simple operation and we like being right in the middle of all the local action in this part of town.
