Saffron Infrabuild

At Saffron Infrabuild, our office is located right inside the Binory Co Op Housing Society. It’s a bit different from a standard office building because we are surrounded by people's homes and daily lives. You see the laundry hanging out and hear the sounds of families going about their business. It really keeps things grounded for us. We work on building and infrastructure projects, so there is always a lot of technical stuff to handle. Our desks are usually piled high with site plans and meeting notes. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy waiting area. If someone comes by, one of us just pulls up a chair for them and we talk. We like the informal feel of it all. It makes it easier to talk to people without all that corporate stiffness you find in other places. Binory society is a well-known spot, so people don't have much trouble finding our door. We've been here for some time now and we feel like part of the furniture. We spend a lot of time on the phone with suppliers and workers out on the sites. It can get a bit hectic, especially when we have several different things going on at once. But we just take it as it comes. We aren't a big company with a lot of layers and managers. It’s just us doing the work we can in a place that feels like home. We’re just regular folks doing a job.
