The office isn't anything out of the ordinary. It’s a place where we keep our files, meet with suppliers, and try to plan out our next steps. We aren't corporate types. We’re more like the people you see at the local tea stall discussing the price of cement. Our sentences are short and we don't like wasting time on fancy talk. The Ahmedabad city life moves fast, and we try to keep pace without losing our heads. Sometimes the traffic makes us late for meetings, and sometimes the rain slows down the work on-site. We just take it as it comes. We’ve got a mix of experienced older guys and some younger ones who are still learning the ropes. It works out well because we balance each other out. We don't have a grand vision we talk about in hushed tones. We just have a list of tasks that need doing and we try to tick them off one by one until the project is finished.
