Chetak Polymers

We have been operating at No. 71/ 3 Phase No. 1 Gidc in Vatva for quite a while now. This entire area is full of different factories so there is always some smoke or the smell of warm plastic in the air. We work with polymers here. It involves a lot of heat and plenty of heavy lifting. We have these big machines that run pretty much all day long. Sometimes we even have to stay late just to finish a specific batch of products. The lunch break is when we finally get to sit down for a minute. We sit outside on the bench if it is not too sunny. My desk is usually covered in old invoices and various samples of plastic pellets. It is a bit of a mess but I know exactly where everything is located. The entrance to the factory is actually a bit hard to see from the main road. You have to turn right after the big blue gate. We do not do any advertising at all. Most people know us because we have been in the Vatva area for so many years. The floor gets a bit slippery when we have to wash down the machines. We all wear old clothes because they get ruined by the oil and the heat anyway. It is a tough job but it pays the bills for everyone. We have a few guys who have been here since the start.
