Veer Machinery

Our place, Veer Machinery, is situated in the GIDC area of Vatva, specifically in the Pushpak Industrial Estate. We are at unit number 239 in Phase-I. It is a busy industrial zone, so there is always the sound of metal and engines in the background. We’ve been here for years, dealing with different kinds of machines and parts. The workshop is usually greasy and smells like oil, but that’s normal for this line of work. We spend a lot of time on our feet, fixing things or showing customers how a particular piece of equipment works. It’s not a clean job, and our clothes usually show it by the end of the day. We have a few heavy workbenches and a lot of tools hanging on the walls. Most of the people around here are also in the industrial business, so we all know each other. We get our tea from the same guy who walks around the estate every morning. It’s a simple setup. We don't have a big marketing team or anything; we just do the repairs and sales as they come. Sometimes it’s hard to find a specific part in the clutter, but we usually know where everything is. The GIDC can be a bit overwhelming if you aren't used to it, but for us, it’s just home. We just try to keep the machines running and help out the folks who come by.
