Our spot at 71-10, Phase-1, Gidc is pretty much what you’d expect from an industrial area. It’s dusty and there’s always the sound of trucks moving somewhere nearby. We spend most of our time in the back where the actual work happens. The office part is just a couple of small rooms with some old computers and a lot of spare parts lying around. It’s not the kind of place you come to see something pretty. We’ve been in this phase of the Gidc for a long time now. The roads are a bit bumpy and when it rains, the puddles stay for days. But it’s where we get things done. Most of the guys have been here for years, so we all know each other's routines. We start early before the sun gets too high because the roof is metal and it heats up fast. There’s a small tea stall just down the road where we go when we need a break from the noise. It’s honest work and we don't try to pretend it's anything else. The company name is Techno Bonanza Pvt. Ltd., but we don't feel like a big corporation. We are just a small team trying to keep the machines running and the orders going out on time. Sometimes the electricity cuts out and we just sit outside until it comes back on. That’s just life in the industrial zone where things are practical and a little rough.
