Silver Industries

Silver Industries is tucked away in Phase-i of the Gidc in Vatva, specifically at C-2, A/4. If you know the area, you know it’s always crowded with traffic and people moving stuff around. Our space is crowded too, mostly with raw materials and the tools we use every day. We don’t have a big sign or a lobby. It’s just the workshop floor and a small space for keeping the books. Most of the guys have been here long enough that they can do the work with their eyes shut, but we still pay attention. The floor gets dusty and there’s always a bit of oil here and there, but that’s just part of the trade. Sometimes the heat in Vatva gets to be a bit much, so we take a few extra breaks near the fan. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to get through the daily list and make sure the parts are right before they go out the door. You’ll often hear the radio playing in the background over the sound of the tools. It helps the time pass when we’re doing a big run of items. Usually, by the time we lock up at night, we’re pretty tired, but it feels good to see the empty pallets filled up. It’s just how we operate, day in and day out, at our little spot in Phase-i.
