Down here at Siddharth Industries on Plot No. 3107, things stay pretty busy throughout the week. Being in Phase-4 of the Gidc means we are surrounded by all sorts of factories and warehouses. It’s a gritty part of town, full of the sounds of metal hitting metal and the constant rumble of heavy engines. Our building at Plot 3107 isn't anything special to look at from the outside. It’s got gray walls and a heavy iron door that stays open most of the day to let a bit of a breeze in. We spend a lot of time organizing the workspace because things have a habit of getting cluttered when we have a lot of orders to fill. The guys on the floor know their way around the equipment, even the older machines that occasionally need a bit of a kick to get started. We have a small area near the front for paperwork, but mostly the action happens in the back. Sometimes the dust from the road gets inside, so we spend a decent amount of time sweeping up. It’s just part of the routine. We’ve seen other businesses come and go in Phase-4, but we’ve stayed put here on our plot. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s steady work. We know the regular delivery drivers by name, and they know where to park so they don’t block the entrance. It’s a straightforward operation. We do what we do, keep the machines maintained, and try to stay out of the heat as much as possible.
