Shree Umiya Pevars

If you head down to Phase 3 in Vatva, you will find us at No. 79 on the ground floor of the Rudraksh Complex. It’s right there at Plot No. 1606. Our daily life at Shree Umiya Pevars usually involves a lot of dust and heavy lifting. We deal with paving blocks and stones all day long, so our clothes usually end up looking a bit gray by lunch. The complex stays pretty busy with trucks coming in and out, and there’s always the sound of something being loaded or unloaded nearby. We have our small office space on the ground floor which makes it easier for people to just stop by and look at the different samples we have lying around. There are stacks of pavers everywhere, sometimes even blocking the way to the desk if we have a big shipment coming in. It is not a quiet place by any means, but it is where we do our work. We spend a lot of time on the phone or talking to drivers about where the next load needs to go. The sun gets really hot in Vatva during the afternoons, so we usually keep the door halfway shut to stay a bit cool. We don't have much in the way of fancy decorations, just some calendars on the wall and a few chairs for visitors. It’s just a regular spot where we try to get the orders filled and sent out on time. That is really all there is to it.
